SHOOTING THE BREEZE But for the breeze No rustling leaves The weather forecast The same as the last The tell tails don’t lie No sails sailing by No hanging of ten The waves don’t role in No soaring on high On motionless sky’s All sowing of seeds Up to birds and bees No etching of stone Except on your own The wind in your hair As still as the air (I think I’ll go fly a kite today.) JC. Verra Guid. You should use "The Breeze and I" as your theme song. Camac. |

John, please pardon me, I have a twisted mind. The first thought I had on reading the title is "What did the poor breeze ever do to you?" That said, folks who love the outdoors will feel a kinship in their hearts for the writer--you. |
