From Grand Rapids its about 10-11 hour drive to Ironwood. I have hunting Land in the Porcupine MTN off of 519.. Lake of the clouds

Anyway, Bill Gorden is the athlete director.. I was invited to compete in Ironwood but, National Championship are in Saline Michigan same weekend. Plus we have the top 8 out of 1o Pros in the world competing there..

Grand Rapids to Saline ...3-4 hours biggrin.gif

Plus this year we have a 30 feet working viking ship that will run the shore and have a reenactment battle on the shore .. going to be pretty sweet

the games should be good this.

Eric Frasure is turning Pro at these game. This Kid is 21 yrs old and hold 6 World Records in the Highland games. Dont want to miss this game

I would have gone but the Saline Michigan is holding the Great Lakes Ancient National Championships.

They will have 8 out of the top 10 in North America

if you know your heavy athletes

Just wanted to get this on the forum so everyone can add JULY 13 and 14 to there calendars. The Saline Celtic festival ( www.salineceltic.org ) has invited the Tartan Terrors 9 www.tartanterrors.comto the festival. This band is off the hook and everyone just needs to make the drive for a weekend and party with other scot's not including the top 10 heavy athlete in North America.
