I just started reading it. It has awsome reviews and has been #1 on the NY Times list for books. Has anyone else read it?

Nova Scotian, Have you finished it yet? What did you think of it?

I started reading it and could hardly put it down! I just LOVED it & it brought me to tears in several places. The thing that sticks out about this book-without giving too much away for those who have not read it yet-is that it so wonderfully personifies God's deep love for people!

I passed it onto my daughter & she also tore it up.

GREAT read that I would recommend to any believer or spiritual seeker!

Shalom,
Melissa

I read it and I really took my time reading it trying to absorb all of it and trying to see it's message. You are right. It does show that God not only loves us be God him self is Love. I hope the make a companion study book for it.

Yes, it is very much about God's love. And the dialogue between Papa, Holy Spirit & Jesus, as well as with Mack, is very fascinating & refreshing.

A companion study would be helpful because it does get a bit deep, doesn't it? I found myself reading parts over again to grasp it. The author wrote the story as a gift to his children, so something tells me that he would not write a study book. But....you never know.

My wife has read it and is trying to get me to read it. I also have friends who really liked the book so it must be pretty good.

This book was recommended by a celtic brother so I bought it. After two pages I lost interest so I handed it to my wife who is good with books with lots of pages and no pictures, she couldn't follow it.

I'm not a great fan of novels anyway.
