I was looking at the numbers on the opening page of the Community Pages for the Celtic Forums. I like numbers, I like milestones.
Members: 33,922 - Topics: 14,746 - Posts: 290,037
Close to 35,000 members, close to 15,000 topics, and close to 300,000 posts!!
In my number brain the questions are:
WHICH milestone will fall first?
WHEN will these numbers be surpassed? One, all three??
Oh and WHY do I care?

Well I think it's very significant for some reason. A sign of..... um....of well what?? A sign of Great Interest in a topic we all share? An Accomplishment of THIS site?? Success in a way?? Being part of something special??

Hmmm....

I do like numbers and records as I have said and I do like being a part of this Community.

Hey Togo! I've been looking at the numbers, too. Pretty impressive stuff! I think it will be pretty cool to go over 35,000 members.

I'm going to guess that the 35,000 will come first, but I could be wrong. I don't know what all the numbers indicate either except that folks love the music and love this place. It's a good community with some really friendly folks (and a few grumpy ones to keep us all honest!)

I like watching the numbers increase! Let's keep it up!

Woo! It'll be 40,000 in no time! This site it so unique and special, I want to share it with everyone I know to spread the music and the fun! Gosh, 900 new members in one week?! That's incredible! Here's to a long life for the site!

Wow it was almost a month and a half ago when the topic was started that there was 34,000 members.

3,000 new members in such a short time!

Congratulations to Celtic Radio! I wonder how many of last months new members came to the site to vote for Celtic Thunder? That's how I found you and I've noticed they are mentioned in a lot of the intros. I haven't gone back to my other Celtic stations 'cause this is so much better. At this rate we will soon be seeing 50,000 members. Thanks for all you do to keep this going.
