Hello everyone! I was wondering if you would like to help me out a bit. You see, I love the sound of Celtic music, but I can never find what I want when I'm out shopping for CDs. I really just don't know what I should be looking for. So could you please give me some suggestions of good artists/groups? Oh, and so far I enjoy easy-listening music, I like pan flutes/harps/bagpipes, and so far I've seemed to gravitate more towards female vocalists. Thanks so much for any suggestions!! biggrin.gif And if you need more information feel free to email me at [email protected].

biggrin.gif Hi Lauren,
Welcome to highlander, biggrin.gif .
Why not try a bit of Clannad,or Mary Black or Altan are particularly good.
You should listen to some of the music on highlander. It will give you a wide variety of celtic music and you will get an idea of which artists suit you.

I know that you said you like female voice, but I would still recomend Dougie Maclean. Great musician from Scotland. Nice, and easy going. I think you will enjoy it. The Cd "the search" is all instumental. If you are looking for/ prefer that...

Cheers
