Celebrated singer/writer/choreographer/dance teacher Aïda and accomplished Electro/Lounge/Alternative musician Skully make up the synergetic DUO “Métisse”. One of their most acclaimed original compositions, “Boom Boom Ba” has been used repeatedly in movies.
Their talents match in a seamless union of engaging music. Skully’s masterful mix of alluring layers of instrumental and synthesized effects enchants one’s psyche while Aïda’s dynamically diverse vocals delight the heart and soul.
Many of their compositions are inspired by their passion of real life events or places.
At times you can hear them literally compete with each other [vocals vs. music] on the emphasis of points in a track at which they want to incite emotions in the listener.
If you exult in magnificent music, I can assure you a purchase of a Métisse production will be richly rewarded.

NEWS FLASH:
On 8 September 2009, after an eight year sojourn, the Duo, Métisse began recording together again. This is a very exciting time for Métisse and Skully fans. We have been told, “...the magic is still there...” Listening to their fabulous Métisse albums, “My Fault” and “Nomah’s Land”, you can feel the passion and romance in Aïda’s glorious voice as well as Skully’s magnificent music. The spark between the two comes across very clearly in their music.
They are working on their third album. And we have been told there are at least two tracks ‘already in the bag’, so to speak. Skully has also stated, “It is a lot of work, but very enjoyable. Aida's voice is sounding even more magnificent, and there is a nice retro Jazz vibe creeping into our music.”
These are truly exciting times for Métisse and Skully fans!

That's Fantastic Gram Pam !

No biggy, dup entries, that just gives everyone double the knowledge; I don't know about you, the the day I won that contest, and I ask for "My Fault", (the only one I hadn't gotten); I've been on WOW factor ever since.

This album is far beyond my highest praise; there is not one song that doesn't shine....my all time favs are Walking Home and Pray and My Fault, and...well, I could name them all ! Coco...on and on....

Skully's outstanding instumentals, like he said, he pushed it to the limit, then kept going...Aida's vocals, you can feel her pain through My Fault, that must of been very hard for her, she's incredible, and together, Skully and Aida make Metisse.

have a good day,
slaine,
