Looks like it's an area just south of Scotland in Western England

AMAZING!

I'm with A, These have to be screen savers.

I know Wales is known as Cambria. Is Cumbria another spelling? Another area? An area within Wales?

Stunning.

My daughter, the snot, got to go there but her pictures are nothing like these. *lol*

Cumbria is in north west of England between the Hadrian Wall and the north of Wales. Most of its area is called the Lake District and is a National Park which is one of the most beautiful places of England.

It is really amazing the beauty of raw nature.

Thanks Gwynhwyvar for sharing those. Brought back good memories for me.LOA

I am glad that everyone has enjoyed the pictures of Cumbria. I only wish I was the one that had taken them, but then again, I have never been there. I can only dream. The person that sent them is in a group called Atlanta Celts - and that is the place where I found out about Celtic Radio. Again, I am glad y'all have enjoyed them!

Some of the scenes remind me a bit of northern Ontario -- the water, the wide open spaces. Only without the feeling that there are faeries nearby. Whoever the photographer is must have known what they're doing, despite the disclaimer on the website. Simply gorgeous. I'm putting one of them up as my wallpaper too.
