I wanted to show off our little girl, who isn't so little anymore. Graduation was Last Thursday.
Whitney is second from the right, she's the littlest one. These are all of her Band Friends. The Boy in the pic is her saxophone rival, Nick. They were always competing with each other about the BIG tenor sax, which was 2X her size. She won this year though, she was the one who carried and played it in competitions and during the season. I know how heavy it was, but I never heard her complain about it's weight, she loved it.
Whitney, Marissa and Jen. The three Musketeers for so long, the past year has seen a big difference in their relationship. Marissa (AKA Mars) and Whit have become closer, the two of them and Jen have grown apart some, because of just growing up, I think, as well as some differences in philosophies. Whit & Mars are going to the same college.
Whitney & Tucker. What can I say, he's a cutie. Her first real boyfriend, who one of these days is going into the Army.
Whitney & I.
Whitney & Charles III This is her and her brother, Charles is 16.
My hubby and I!! The pic looks like this because my MIL accidently opened the cam and the pic was overexposed. I tried to fix it the best that I could, lol, and this is how it turned out. But too blue is better than not at all. Thank goodness I asked her to have them put on disc as well as hard copies!
Well, I hope that you liked them. There aren't any pix of Wally in these because he fell asleep and my MIL took him home with her before it was over.
They're all wonderful pictures! Whitney looks so much like you, too. This is such a big step for her. Is she looking forward to beginning college? I'm glad that Mars will be there with her - that really helps! You must be very, very proud of her!
Life seems to get faster every year, doesn't it? Tell her to enjoy her Summer, and have fun with all her friends before they all go off to college.
Thanks for sharing these!

Nice photos Lil. Great to see you back. Last year my oldest graduated. One of his best friends joined the Army. Says its the biggest mistake he ever made! I am thinking he would have been happier in the Marines, Navy or Air Force.
What a good looking family, Lil. Whitney is a lovely girl. A whole new world is opening up for her...may she find that it a wondrous place with unlimited possibilities..
