What are y'alls plans for Thanksgiving? Family Gatherings? What kind of food? Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because it is spent with all of the family members. I wish y'all a very Safe and Happy Thanksgiving. We will have the traditional turkey with all of the trimmings. Since I live on Georgia's coast we will also have crab au gratin, boiled and fried shrimp and steamed oysters. Wow!! I already hungry. cool.gif

We are staying home this Thanksgiving. I didn't know how well I would be feeling, but turns out I haven't started the treatments yet. Our daughter has already made other plans but our son is coming over. I'm fixing a pork tenderloin with a lot of yummy extras. I know it's not traditional, but I didn't think anyone was going to be here. Everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Hold on to and cherish every minute you have with your families.

We usually do the turkey and all that goes with it. This year, we are going to some friends home for dinner. Kids are gone and Thanksgiving is normally a quiet time here.

But they are all coming for Christmas!!! thumbs_up.gif

We're celebrating with all 3 daughters, grandchildren and sons-in-laws..I have been cooking most of the day, fixing my desserts, cornbread stuffing and cranberry salad. I still have a pecan pie and pumpkin cake in the oven. I'm looking forward to feast day, but mostly being with the family and enjoying life. I'm fixing the turkey, stuffing , sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes , turkey gravy and rolls. My oldest daughter is bring a ham, green beans, corn, pumkin pie and brocolli salad, she makes the best brocolli salad...
I'm feeling a little down and out, my youngest granddaughter gets to spend Thanksgiving with her Dad this year (her Mom and Dad are in the process of divorcing and the court ruled that she gets to spend the odd number year with her Dad and the even with her Mom (my daughter). I hate divorce sepecially when children are involved!!! Mydaughter is her sole provider so she gets to spend most of her time with us, only visiting rights everyother weekend with her Dad. Enoght of that...I hope everyone has the Best Thanksgiving EVER!

I'm at my parents' house with my sister and her family. It's nice to see the little ones again. We're about to have dinner now and several choices of pie (including a banana cream I made a few days ago) for dessert.

I hope everyone had a great day with friends and family. I just finished cleaning the kitchen up and am relaxing just a wee bit. I have 3 grandchildren that's spending the nite. Lots of leftovers for the next few days. Monday it's back to counting calories and walking an extra mile!!!
