Good so far. I'm only about an hour into it after having watched the last part of Earthsea before starting it. I like the extra I've seen so far, especially the death of Sauraman and Ëowyn's dream. thumbs_up.gif

Anyword on when the Hobbit will be released? Do you think the ROTK is worth the extra bucks? I have the three movies and have read the books. Thanks for your input. Hey since we are kind of neighbors do you guys have snow on the ground now? We do suppose to get more tonight.

Have A good one what ever it may be

I love the extended versions of the first two and the third so far(I just finished disc one). After seeing the extended version of Fellowship I've forced myself to wait for the extended versions to come out before buying. They're only $23 at Walmart which isn't bad for a movie like this.

We just got a dusting last night. It sounds like Highlands Ranch and south of there got hit the hardest but it was only about three inches or so. Most of my snow from the previous storm is already gone. There's just a little bit left on the north side of the house. How about up your direction? My cousins have a ranch just south east of Casper and I haven't talked to them yet to see how much they've got. We're heading up ther for New Years weekend.

Last I heard Jackson was supposed to start working on The Hobbit after he finished with King Kong. I haven't heard any guess on the release date yet. I can't wait though laugh.gif

Rindy,
They do shop at Brattis Grocery. They have the Banner Ranch Co. out on Hat Six. It's my favorite place to be.

I'm glad you're husband is ok. I work in automotive and have seen way too many vehicles that have hit animals. It's a wonder that the people were not hurt worse than they were.

Take care Rindy biggrin.gif

I understand what ya'll are talking about in regard to the weather and critters on the road. I spent several centuries (ok years) in Rock Springs. Interesting climate. laugh.gif

The city of Rock Springs is best described as "Hard and Cold". The mountains and wilderness areas in Wyoming are extremely beautiful. I backpacked them extensively and was on a back-country rescue team while I lived there.

I finally got to watch the extended ROTK. Wonderful stuff. The added 50 minutes make it much richer in character development.

Hey maisky,

Thanks for liking the state. It does have some beautiful country. My husband is a backpacker. It is a very dangerous sport if not done right. He was Bighorn Sheep hunting a few years back, alone and he got one but about didn't make it back out. He had no horses or people, it is quite the story I keep askin him if I can put it on. I'll keep trying.
Now I think I might by RTOK it sounds very tempting. Guess it would just be one more LOTR thing around here. I have a lot of the collectables, and calanders and such. Tempt me Tempt me.... smile.gif

You WANT the movie....You NEED the movie.....You MUST have the movie..... laugh.gif

WOW! Maisky, that was really deep.......temptations resisted.......that's pretty good.

I'm showing LOTR, the extended version, to my students for 3 days. They'll be complaining because they will not get to watch it all. I don't get to watch, just listen as it goes on over my head. Will watch during the holidays. It must be awsome!!!!
