Hi all! I cast my first circle today! I was so excited! I have a lot to learn though. I'm sure I did a lot of things wrong.I want to take things slowly and do it right. Let me ask maybe a silly question...is there a difference between Goddess worship and Wicca? In other words can you worship the Mother Goddess and not be a witch?

I bought my first gift yesterday! Usually once I get that first one under my belt it gets easier. Except for my Mum who is very difficult to buy for. My sister and I have more or less agreed to cut back this year. We'll see! I'm still waiting for my boys to tell me what they want Santa to bring them.

You could be right. I hope so anyway. But I've never considered myself very good with languages. After all I was born and raised in Quebec and still can't speak French very well. Here that's pretty much a mortal sin!! sad.gif

Thanks for your help! I wanted to put it on the UNICEF Christmas cards I bought. They're multilingual as you may know. But I wanted to add some languages from my background. I'm also adding Polish and Ukrainian! So you can see I'm quite a mix! Carol wink.gif

I'm from Montreal. When I was a kid (I'm 49) there were a few houses where we would have to do a "turn". Also when I first went out for Halloween we would say, "Charity please!"instead of "Trick or treat". I always thought that may have stemmed from my Mum's Irish roots. Either that or it was a French Canadian thing.
Anyway, Happy Halloween to all!
