Hi Sis,

You know, I forgot all about Bullwinkle and Rocky - and I used to watch them all the time, but I was in high school at the time, so perhaps my mind was on other things besides their mis-adventures. rolleyes.gif

It does make me remember, however, of Boris Baddenoff and his famous vow that he made over and over again, to no avail, to "keel moose aand squeirrel". I'm reminded of that because I used to work with a person from Czechoslovakia, who always spoke like that. I was always wondering if he married Natasha? tongue.gif

Have a good one!

Best cheers! Robbie

QUOTE (sisterknight @ 14-Dec-2006, 12:53 PM)
how about the professor and peabody's line "let's step into the wayback machine"

No, it's Mr. Peabody (a cartoon dog) and his pet boy Sherman.

May the Irish hills caress you.
May her lakes and rivers bless you.
May the luck of the Irish enfold you.
May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.

"Engage!" (Capt. Jean Luc Picard ST:TNG)

The one I think of for Captin Picard is "Make it so."

God then made man. The Italians for their beauty. The French for their cuisine. The Welsh for their voices. The Germans for their cars. And on and on until He looked at what He had created and said, "This is all very well, but no-one is having fun. I'll have to make an Irishman."

How about

"You rang." - Lurch in the Addams Family

--------------------
"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.""
Psalm 91:1-2

"Be what you would seem to be--or, if you'd like it put more simply--Never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise." from "Alice in Wonderland"
