QUOTE (CelticRose @ 01-Nov-2004, 10:03 AM)
How creative of you Maisky to come up with the perfect title for a soap opera for our man! Perfect! tongue.gif laugh.gif

Now the important question: Who will volunteer to be female leads? i.e. disheveled clothes and flushed face? biggrin.gif

We caught The Incredibles this weekend and we enjoyed it quite a bit. Gotta scoot otherwise I'd write more about it.

I watched "Shrek2" this weekend. honestly didn't think it was as good as the first one. Maybe it's cause it was new and different.

Just didn't hit me!

I was debating whether to see "The Incredibles" or "The Polar Express". I literally could not decide, so I left it up to the Fates and flipped a coin. It came up heads and I saw "The Polar Express". Having never read the book, it was all a new experience for me. The computer animation was perfect. At times, it really did seem like I was watching a live action movie.

We finally got to watch "Ray" yesterday. The movie and story were superb. I don't have to say ANYTHING about the music. I would rate the movie as a "Must See".

I rented "Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban" from one of the local Blockbuster outlets this weekend. It's definitely the darkest of the three movies, both in story and scenery. Alfonso Cuaron preferred icier grays to Chris Columbus' rich golden tones.

I had just looked for this Thread the other day. Thank you MDF3530 thumbs_up.gif

I have seen "American History X", "Secret Window" and "Spiderman II" lately.

"American History X", was very good and unexpecting.

"Secret Window", It was OK, I figured it out ahead of time, only thing I could say was that it was a typical Steven King Movie.

"Spiderman II", again it was OK, pretty close to the first movie.

But this is my opinion, you may think differently.

Lets see movies i have recently seen. I just finished with Spiderman 2. i thought it was a good movie ( of course being a comic reader for over 25 years i noticed some things that i had to be quiet about).
I also just watched Once Upon a Time in the Midlands. mostly watched it cuz the main characters are all in Formula 51, which is in my top ten list of movies.

Also I know im a little late on the Viggo thread but he was also in GI Jane.

We just recently watched Bad Santa. What a terrible movie. It had some funny moments, but overall, it was garbage. I sure hope small children never watch it.

Last night I went to see Ocean's Twelve. I thought it was as good as the first one. There were several cameo appearances: Bruce Willis, Topher Grace (Forman on "That '70s Show"), Albert Finney and Robbie Coltrane (bka Hagrid from "Harry Potter").

This afternoon I stopped at one of the local Blockbuster stores and rented Star Wars Episode VI: Return Of The Jedi. My favorite one so far is still A New Hope.
