Well this past year has not done me well, and I realize I'm not the only one who's feeling the effects of the economy etc.
If anyone in the area of Western Mass can help, I'm in need of a place to stay. I am currently living in a local homeless shelter and doing what I can to get get help in a place to live but...it's going to take time
I do have some income (disability) so I can at least pay some towards rent and can also help with paying for food or by helping work around the apt /house etc as much as I physically am capable .

Is this still ongoing project ?
I checked the link and didn't see any photos from this year.....only ones I saw were from 2k10.
It would be a shame to see a piece of living history like this come to nothing

Wow......quite the undertaking, and one in which I wish you the best of luck with.
Perhaps sometime, my lady and I may get a chance to visit and see this work in progress in person.
Of course, both of us would bring , and wear, our Medieval garb for sure!

My apologies for my lateness in replying to your return, My Lord.
There have been many things that have drawn my attention and energies that needed dealing with.
Hopefully, under your rule, as always, all here shall prosper and thrive ,as in the past under your benign rule.
I offer my pledge of fealty to you, as well as that of all my troops, as needed.
YIS,
Lord Seamus MacCorcrain, of Clan Argyle |

Going to finally stop being a Pennsic Virgin yay!
Glad it's Pennsic 40 that shall be my first Pennsic....only drawback is that my wife wasn't able to get war week off for vacation time so we could be there together
Oh well.....I will be staying with a few friends, in our encampment, by the name of Raven's Nest, hopefully in N22 which is near my home Barony's usual spot.
Hopefully, I will get to meet many new friends, and folks that I otherwise converse with via emails etc.
YIS,
Lord Seamus MacCorcrain |

I just reupped my premium membership this week.....if I have the extra cash anytime soon I'll be glad to donate at least the $10. I've been listening to the station even longer than I've been playing the game here Just being on disability, right now I've got to be a Scotsman when it comes to the $$

I've been busy most of the summer with physical therapy and dr's visits and such due to being diagnosed w/degenerative disc disease and degenerative arthritis in both shoulders, and possibly in my knees as well....hasn't been the greatest summer, but hey I'll make the best of it I can
As to being active, I'm doing what I can right now since sitting for too long at the computer hurts darnit
I'm in process of seeing MORE "specialists" soon and facing the possibilty of being on the "disabled" list......not that that's where I want to be, I just don't have much choice in the matter.
I still listen to the station and watch the videos when I can and darnit I will KEEP doing that!!! As far as I'm concerned, this is THE ONLY station to listen to for anything Celtic on the internet!!!
Slainte,

Yes this was posted with my permission.....
This poem was "inspired" by a few days of flashbacks and sleeplesness and is a tribute to any and all of us with EMS, and similar backgrounds.
It's all part of the price one pays for those who serve and protect .
And ya......I still have flashbacks.....and probably always will.

I've got a friend in Ct, who's also a member of the SCA and one helluva brewer of meads, ales, stouts, etc.
Gods......I don't dare even try to think of which one of the many brews that I've had over the years would be my favourite.
My tastes have changed a tad over the years........tho I still have a fond spot for Wild Turkey 8 yr old bourbon
I'm definitely a coffee drinker.......never was there such an ambrosia made for lowly human consumption !
Still like Glenfiddich, do drink tea, especially a number of the herbal brews and , if anyone's interested, I've got a .doc format listing of a large number of mead recipes that I can u/l to the forums.

Now that I have the time, having spent the last couple of weeks shuttling back and forth from Mass to Ct and back again, wondering how long my wife's grandmother had to live, I'll gladly pay you some more visits
I've got the resources to pay many a visit to you so long as you don't go too far down in the rankings!

Another thought , Paul, would be for Clan members to be able to "migrate" from the kingdom they are in to a "kingdom" that would consist of fellow clan members, up to a certain number, such as 5 *just a number to throw out there*.
There should be a resource cost for moving like this , but it could get interesting, seeing folks of like mind getting into one area.
Just my 2 cents here
