Barddas plays traditional and non-traditional music from Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales. Barddas was formed in early 2002 with a desire to bring traditional Celtic tunes to the public, with a touch of modern flare, without taking away the charm of the original piece. From traditional ballads, sea shanties or everyone's favorite sing a long drinking song, the spirit of the night is sure to be lifted!
This is NOT your mothers Celtic music. So, come and have a pint, raise your glass, and enjoy the sounds of Cincinnati's most energetic Celtic Group.

I am not sure when the next date we'll be playing is due to Joe's dad just had a stroke today... so I know he'll be needing to deal with family issues fora while.....
Right now we don't have any up coming dates. We are sending out a bunch of new press packs to several places in and out of town.( That we haven't played before) But right now we have been concentrating on new material, for the live show and for the new album. We have 3 original tracks written and arranged for the cd already, and we are looking through a lot of obscure Trad. tunes. ( turning out to be about 90% Scottish tunes!!! )
However, we did send Paul a few live recordings from a show we did late this summer! It's all new stuff... ( material that isn't on the CD) the croud is about 200-250... Crazy bunch of people!!!!! LOL!!!

I must be out of my head. I could have swore that I heard you guys do South Australia. There are a couple of versions on here. I may have looked at the song name on one artist and the artist name on yours.
Or perhaps it was a fabrication of one of the voices in my head
I will PM you when we play the Claddagh next. They just book us as a duet for the lack of rowdiness factor
You might try the Claddagh here in Indianapolis downtown. They haven't booked us since the Manager changed last but you know the deal with hometown stuff (grin) email me if you want contact information or information on the Indianapolis Irish fest.
