kentucky is beautiful greenery, mountains,rivers....i have a sense of peace when i pass through the southeast, especially through Cumberland Gap...breathtaking,especially when you can catch a glimpse of a hawk flying high above or spot a deer nibbling on grass in the tree line. and it's true the grass is so green it almost looks blue. (the blue grass state). alabama has it share of beautiful spots, it too has alot of mountains, lakes, rivers and greenery. quite a bit of native american history(the trail of tears) and historical sights on the civil war, etc. people call me a yankee because i'm from kentucky, but i have found most states aren't much different from one another...just different dialects, and a few different religions(more of one and not so much of another) i'd like to think basically here in the states we are a friendly people and willing to accept those as they are. (but i sure wish i would not have to travel 2 hours for a decent shopping mall!!) |

i know the horse farm you are talking about, being originally from kentucky myself, most of the horse farms hit bad times and alot of them filed for bankruptcy and tried to sell their farms to the highest bidder...the "castle" you were speaking of i think at one time was asking 2-3 mill. i do believe it was sold eventually |
