| What say you friend A toast be said To the lassies we loved And the life we led. Was good times had And foul ones too To friendship then That saw us through. To the Lassies all With their warnth and charm Who stood by us In times of harm But not for them We would not be They gave us love And stilled our fear With quiet sighs They saw us gone Their tear filled eyes Welcomed us home. Drink up my Friend Enough be said "Tis home I go To the Lass I wed. |
