We'd like to take a moment and recognize a new sponsor of Celtic Radio:

Celtic Confederate

From his website:

"Hey there, I'm Jonathan Horsley of Celtic Confederate, born in Alabama, 1983. I play a range of instruments which include banjo, rhythm & lead (both acoustic & electric) guitars, dobro, strumstick, harmonica, Native American flute, keyboard, mandolin, and I also sing.

I've recently completed my first home-recorded album, as of November, 2009. I should soon be completing a second album. I'm in the process of putting together a band, and will be recording the professional studio versions of these albums.

I am a Lieutenant Commander in my local Sons of Confederate Veterans camp. In 2010, I will begin writing a book that teaches the basics of knowing and understanding Confederate heritage, liberty, and Southern contemporary issues for beginning learners of these subjects.

Have a listen to my music, and please support my cause against historical innaccuracy, political correctness, and my cause in the defense of Southern rights, values, tradition, faith, and American liberty. "

Welcome Celtic Confederate!

You will certainly receive my support in defending our Southern Culture and Heritage. In America today everyone's Heritage and Culture are celebrated except Southern Heritage and Culture. As the Patriarch of our family in Georgia I teach our Southern Heritage and Culture to our children and grandchildren. We all go to local and regional reenactments and local SCV's functions. Our camp recently erected 3 large flags on I-16. The center flag is on a 60 foot flag pole. It is the Stars and Stripes. Flanked on each side of the Stars and Stripes is the '56 Georgia Flag and the Stars and Bars.

I would be interested in learning more about how the Confederate rebellion contributed to the greater interest of the USA.

Thanks for your comment, coastman. I wish I could say what I feel in reference to our situation, but there is too much within to be expressed. When I feel as though we are few, alone, and on the losing end, the idea that God understands our history and our future makes me feel that it's the only confirmation I need to maintain composure.

When it all self-destructs around us, our people will still be here. Our people will return to their relationship with the land; a primary factor which produced Southern character and culture....not to forget that our pre-dominant Celtic heritage contributed as one of the main factors. Although, every aspect of our culture, from our music, to our accents & dialects, and into the lives of our young people is undergoing the never-ending war that may be more dangerous to ourselves than muskets ever were.

My camp flies my 3rd great grandpa's flag of the 58th Alabama!

From,
Celtic Confederate
