I have recently purchesed several CD,s and am looking forward to receiving in the next several day. But last night I had the great privalage of hearing live Bruce Davies......WOW he was really fantastic...purchesed 4 more cds and would travel to hear him again...he hails form Scotland.....the accent is wounderful and makes his stories even more authentic. If you have not gotten to hear him please do so your ears will be smiling as a friend of mine says. Bruce's web sight is brucedavies.com. good preformer.

Good morning to all,
Well You want to talk making yourself look like a fool infront of your favorite entertainer. Well I am a hug Charlie Zham fan have been for a long time. To show you though how nice he is.. He was at a house concert in New Jersey( I live in VA) the weeknd just before St Patricks day. I decided I was going to have fun. I bought a hat a green derby hat with fringe on it, a green and white necklace with leprocons with pots of gold on it that light up. I also had on a button that said kiss me I am Irish. Now Poor charlie knows who I am but we do not know each other excet through his music.. he gets up and starts to sing and stops and says" Darlene, look at you!" The look on his face ws worth a million.. He asked what had made me do this in his eyes and I told him I felt like being sily and letting my hair down. He got a bit tickled at that then went on with his concert. ( I must have succeded)
The night was fun Charlie and Tad Marks( a great fiddler he sometimes plays with) even wore a silly hat I prought them for a song. This type of happening though makes seeing someone you reallly love to see more fun and endears them to you more. You are even a part of thieir preformance for just a second! You get to make them laugh  |

 You know I have been a nurse for 25 years asn your are right after yu have seen on fanny yu have seen th4em all.I do not have children but My friends 15 year old watches TV with us from time to time adn commercials, news asn tv sho9ws have created some intresting topics of conversation with her. Not sure some of them she was ready for at the time either. Kids have to learn but I think they need to learn it the right way factually as well as udrestndingly.
Tod I would have loved to had thqat conversation for you.... My dad had my mom explain thinks to my brother....... At least he asked you not one of his pears! says something about our relationship!

Went to hear Charlie last weekend ans as always he ws fantastic. turned the night into a St Patricks day party! I am way beyond a fan I an a groupie at this stage. I love the very traditional music he does.  |

Val, I have flown a few times myself but loved it. just try to decide you are going to enjoy it will help to let you enjoy it Talk to your doctor and see about something for motions sickness if you suffer from that. take it before you leave home not after you start to get sick. Watch out for something too strong to drink too it could backfire on you. Let us know how you enjoied vagas. Wehere are you flying form. |

I have a poem/story that is intitled here afeter. It is a bit long for here but the long ans the sort of it is taht the pastor came by to visit with one of his people snf he asked her at the end of the conversation if she ever thought of the here-after. She responded that she did that quiet frequently. In the kitchen, livigroom, basement, garage, bedroom. She thought " What am I here afte?"

I agree. I hate the adds about female hygine stuff. We know and so does the world whjat thay are for do not need to put it on tv all the time. That is one of the signs that men still run advertiding. If women did we would see less female stufff and more discusing male stuff the way advitisers think.
Signs in Va do tell yo to call *77 for emergency use. I tired it one day when I seen an accident and it said the number yu have dialed is not in service. This was my cell phone provided by my employer.

Trying to play penney whistle. cannot read the music too well but have found I can do better playing by ear. want to learn the pipes but have not got the nerve to try.
Love to sing along with the music but then the Dog howls at the distraction. |

I do knit and crochett, althought find I do not have the time I wish I had. I also have done counted crossstich. My mom Sews like a pro but her daughter did not get blessed with that. I do good to sew on a button and turn up a hem.
Rose I hope you are still doing your art for fun. I would love to see some too. That is not a talent of mine either but love it nonethe less.
You know a lot of young people do not know history. It is old stuff! Americans are stuck on being young energetic asn beautifly and notheing else matters. I can say that because I am American. Truth is truth no matter where it comes from. |

 I have been a Charlie Zham fan for a long time. I have seen him in different settings and he just keeps getting better. His voice is a wounderful instrument. He has two CD's of music he wrote! he also plays more than just a balrom( I know it is spelled wrong) and gitar. He also plays Penny whistle, banjo, 12 an 5 not sure about anything else. He sings Celtic, america revilonary adn civil war music as well. He is multi talented and a nice man too. To listen toi his music you ar transported to what ever and who ever he is singing about.
His fiddle player Tad marks is also Great as is the purcusinist Mark Sullivan who accompany Charlie at the larger venues he is at.
My favorite of his CD's is "A walk in the Irish Rain" My favorite song is "Lighthouse on the Shore"(written by Charlie) He is realll unbeatable! |

I think the enhanced account is not a bad idea. depending on the cost I would concider this. one suggestion though.. for folks like me who are funcitionsl only have really good instructions one what to do when to do it a how to do it.Thanks and keep up the good work |

 You are going to think I have lost my mind with this suggestion but it works. There is a product calle Utterly smooth.. no fragrences it is a similar product to the utter butter used by farmers on cows. It is not greasy either. I apply it two or three times a week at night before going to bed. It works when done rutinely. good luck with the dry skin though. know the fun. |
