For the last few days it's been sunny with highs in the upper 70s. AAAAHHH! Love it!

'Bout time we had some good weather. This has been the crappiest summer I remember. Too cool and too much rain.

Here in Kentucky we are enjoying some of the nicest weather we've had all summer. Sunny and mild, mostly in the high 70's. Great weather for the 450 mile yard sale that started last weekend.

we are on "power alerts" here in California. that means, turn your air conditioner to 70 degrees, keep as much turned off as possible, lay low and be cool.
my library is pretty temperate, but a lot of odd sorts of people drift in from the heat, and the temp and the odor rise pretty quickly.
we have a new manager from Illinois, and she said that they had eccentric, colorful folks back in her home town, but that they are downright weird and strange here in so Cal.

Today? Same as yesterday, and the day before that, and the day before that, and...well, you get the idea. Did I metion I hate Florida weather?

Seriously, though...it's 89 and mostly sunny.

Kinda cool today, low 90's or upper 80's, slight breeze, probably rain later on. Typical winter weather here.

Oh sure, typical winter weather, eh? tongue.gif

WARM today, the heat wave broke and it's no loger in the higher 90's but wonderfully comfortable with temps in the 80's. We had some rain this night which we needed urgently and now the sun is out again...love it, my kind of weather! biggrin.gif

Right now at 10:00 in the morning it is only 74 degree's but give it a couple of hrs and it will be back up to the 90's.

This week I was up on my property in Jefferson, NC. When I began goiing up hwy 321 which takes you up to Boone, Blowing Rock and Jefferson it was 92. Then by the time i was up to Blowing Rock it was 76 and a nice fall ish breeze in the air.

I can't wait to live there. I'll be able to breathe and enjoy outside activities most of the year.
As i stood there on Buck Mountain looking over the mountains that surround me the mist was coming in and it was 74 up there. Awesome place!
