Being a life-long coffee/iced tea drinker, I have found yet another caffien addiction! I like hot English Tea! I tried Darjeeling Tea (Capt. Pickard's Favorite), and it is good, but not nearly as good as Ahmad Breakfast Tea. It is dark like coffee and is excellent with 2 lumps of sugar, a dash of cream, and a "biscuit." Are there any other tea-drinkers who would like to share their favs here? I live near an International Foodstore that stocks its shelves with foods from all around the world!
I drink the Celestial Seasonings, Natural Herb Tea, Lemon Zinger. This is a caffeine free tea. I figure I get enough caffeine in coffee, so I try to decaffeinate my soda's and tea. I was advised by my doctor to cut back on the caffeine for my bones sake. I like my tea hot with a little sweetner. I drink english tea sometimes and I have drank the green tea. But my fav is the lemon zinger. I like that zest of lemon. As they say in jolly old England; "I'll have a spot of tea."
Scottish2, I believe that Picard ordered "Tea, Earl Gray, Hot" in several episodes, but also "Tea, Darjeeling, Hot" in a couple of episodes?
Maggie I do not drink any carbonated beverages at all, my poor stomache can only handle non-carbonated beverages. At the price I have to pay for Ahmad Tea, I will only drink it for "special occasions." Will you join me for a spot of tea?
Tea... a very good idea! I drink tea the whole day long, a "bad" habit I brought back from Scotland
I like Darjeeling, Orange Pekoe. With only a few crumbs of brown sugar and a wee splash of milk but also "O'Connor's Cream" from our local tea-store (aromatized with Whisky and Cream... it's sooo great! yum!
oohh, I'd like Darjeeling, too. With a small spoonful of sugar and a wee splash of milk, please!

I'm not a big fan of it and even a month in Ireland didn't change my pont of view but I must admit that the real chinese green tea is delicious! I take some each time I'm going to eat in my favorite restaurant.
But now that I read all your favorite tea, I think I'll try to drink more...probably the lemon one. Thanks for bringing the subject on the board!
Well I don't drink coffee. I like earl gray, english breakfast, orange, black, black & orange, green, darjeeling and constant comment. Oh yes the one they serve in Chinese resterants. I like it hot, iced, plain, surgered, with lemon or cream. When we go out my daughter orders iced tea with cream, the waiter allways looks so strange, I just say; she's from Boston. Just read in an artical from the Health Science Instatute that a new study has shown that if you drink tea (black, orange, or green)with a high colestrol meal, the tea will counter act the bad fat. It must work I had my colestrol checked last week and it was low.
I only use Twinings teas. Lipton is almost totally an export brand nowadays, although it used to be much more common in the UK when I was a girl.
My favourites are
Earl Grey Lady Grey Lapsang Souchong Orange Pekoe
and
Ceylon or Darjeeling for breakfast teas
You can't have a real Scottish 'high tea' without a good brand of tea
Oh I thought Twinings, was the high priced inport brand! I love the first on your list. We drink alot of the last on your list iced. I've never seen the two in the middle of your list.
