i also checked the "find this members posts" and my last post seems to have been in june. instead of last week sometime.

am i beeing paranoid for no reason or HAS somebody been messing with my posts and neglected to inform me?

As part of Macfive's ongoing program of site improvements he installed a piece of software that didn't prove to be very helpful. In order to eliminate many problems at once he had to delete the program and then reset the site back to an earlier date. I believe it was July 22.

With this reset and the previous problems associated with the uncooperative program you can anticipate many emails to disappear. It will all depend on when they were posted. The more active members will find that they may have lost more than some less active.

As disconcerting as this is, such is modern technology. Anyone remember the days of party lines and rotary phones? biggrin.gif

Yes, the site had to be restored back to July 22nd. All posts and e-mails after the 22nd up until the 26th are gone.

Here is the original post from July 26th. You can also find it under 'Technical Support'/Site Restored:

Our apologies on the problems with the site the past few days and restoring the site to July 22nd.

Unfortunately, a bad piece of software called NetLimiter2 really messed up our server. It is still not 100% fixed, but we feel the site should be stable with what we have right now.
