It's unseasonably nice out here today, I'm sure that will change soon.
Just sitting at my desk trying to make myself get to the books.
Going to go visit a sick friend of mine this afternoon, I'm bringing with my to watch, the old movie, "The ghost and Mrs. Muir. I love that movie.

I'm getting together all the information I need to work on some spreadsheets. I have to compile stats on all of our client's competitors and how many ads they ran, how much they spent, etc. etc. etc.

It's a pretty day - I hear Loreena McKennitt playing right now on Highlander Radio - I go home in two hours. Life's not too bad.

Getting ready to go to the Doctor about my Meds. Back in a bit.
He got me in before I got my appointment. It is good having a doctor that is a friend.

Just got back from lunch with an ex employee friend.

I am sitting here looking at the snow on the ground. Not much, but sounds like the rest of the week might be winter still. Can't believe we turn the clocks this Saturday! Yes!! Spring soon...

On the same note, yesterday I called my doctor's office on my way to work. Not only did the secretary get my doctor on the phone right then, but we chatted, he recommended a prescription, and called it in that morning. That's what comes of having the same doctor for over 25 years. And now the second generation is starting to go to his practice - I have two daughters who go there. Wouldn't change docs for all the tea in China. Most people have problems even getting their docs to call them back the same day!

Pre-wombat, Funny too, he mentioned how they were now experienceing 2 nd generation, lots of kids being born to his 1st generation patients. He was there when my oldest son was born 22 years ago and he was pretty much a new family practice doctor, same age as me. If my kid has a kid then he'd be taking care of 3rd gen, OH NO, that would make me a grandpa.

Looking at my collection of kids photos on my office credenza, since 1992.

I know my OB/GYN said it was weird when he started seeing patients who were daughters of previous patients. I still remember when he took on a partner back in '83. That was when I was expecting my DD#1. The two of the doctors were "fighting" over who would do my delivery. They both wanted to! And now there are about 5 partners and the practice is huge. But, the nice thing is that they still feel very much like the small practice they once were and always have time for me.

Well, I made the coffee and I'm going to have my one cup of the day. I woke up late and got here on time because I skipped breakfast so I just had some of these 100 calorie Entenmann's Little Bites - kind of like a mini muffin thing - strawberry and bite sized. It'll hold for a while, I guess.

Hopefully, I can finish up the spreadsheets I have to work on today.
