it's the americans tax money... *malicious grin*

but anyways: gwb wants to visit the families of British soldiers that died in Iraq.... I'm not sure how it should help them cope with their loss.

A good friend of me & Craig just went off to training in England and after Christmas he will be transported to Basra. I despise the madness going on there...

AD
It was announced this morning that the UK will be sending more troops to Iraq early in the new year...... not replacements, but to join those already stationed over there. sad.gif

All those dead soldiers - and for what, precisely? Cos 'democracy' doesn't seem to be gaining any friends over there, does it?

How when they announced that the elections will going to be in years time??

I know they are sending new troops, because a friend of me & craig is in that troop...
I will tell you all about the "hick hack" in the run up for this.

Our good friend Jamie got the Letter. He visited us that day telling us about the bad news (he's a so-called weekend warrior in the TA (Territorial Army) regiment up here). We were all pretty shocked about it.
He was told he will be stationed at Basra at first. About two weeks later he got told he will do service at the british Embassy in Bagdad.
Another week later he was told he would have to accompany an American convoy from Quatar to Bagdad (because the Paratroopers chicked out and his LT put his ppl forward for it). Now again it says he's going to stay in Basra on patrol duty. But they don't get Desert Camouflage or anything.. and about every week there is new confusion.

What I thought about directly was misdirection or something similar.
I just hope nothing will happen to him, he's a big part of our lives.

I have to say I loved watching that statue of Bush with his missle topple in London's Trafalgar Square. You can scroll down in the window below
