| http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/atf-agent-bosses-govt-gun-running-scheme Hearings are now taking place concerning, a secret (until recently) ATF program that put firearms into the hands of illegal purchasers. The ATF put in place a program to approve placing firearms in the hands of known ineligible purchasers on the pretense of tracking where they went. Then they apparently lost track of them but continued the program. It is entirely possible that one of those firearms was used in the shooting that injured Congresswoman Giffords as it was well within the time frame that these sales were taking place. It was interesting that the focus centered on "high capacity clips" and little was noted anywhere but Fox News about the perp's alleged ineligibility to buy the firearm. It is possible that it was known that her assailant was ineligible to own a firearm because of his mental status but the sale was approved anyway under the AFT program. At least one agent has been killed with a weapon approved under this program. The obama administration owns the entire fiasco as it was approved by top personnel in his administration. One certainly should wonder if there were or are ulterior motives. If so the leak certainly upset their basket of apples. This is worth following. Slàinte, Patch |
