Benny Goodman at the Madhattan room of the Hotel Pennsylvania NYC October 13, 1937. King of swing king.gif the dude made the clarinet cool and that ain't easy, lol. My mom played it until I was sick of it but I still like to listen to it now and then.

OBH, I know what you mean. I grew up listening to Benny Goodman, John Coltrane, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington and Count Basie. My dad just loves those old jazz musicians. I like some of that stuff too. It's better than that smooth jazz garbage that gets played on the radio nowadays.

"Nella Fantasia" from Celtic Women. It is a great song and Chloe, the girl singing it, is only 15. My hat definately goes off to her because the songs that she sings aren't the easiest songs to sing, but they are great.

John Denver -- Windsong

I've decided today that I'd start digitizing my parents' collection of albums before something bad starts happening to them. Granted that most of them are in great shape, but I'd hate for them to start breaking down or something and lose the collection...
