What popular song do you think would sound good being played by a pipe and drum band?

Personally, I'd like to hear the classic Beatles' song "Eleanor Rigby" biggrin.gif .

Remember the song Tusk by Fleetwood Mac? It actually had a college marching band in it - would have bben better if it had been a drum and pipe band! wink.gif

"Let it be" or "Imagine", John Lennon.

I've heard these by all sorts of bands and done well, sound great.

Cat Stevens "The Wind"

I have heard one of Cat Stevens' songs, "Morning Has Broken", played on the bagpipes. Not bad.

I think celticradio.net needs to start playing some Flogging Molly or Dropkick Murpheys! haha

Dropkick Murphy's is the most hilarious band I have ever heard! It cracks me up. How about the song "Bridge over troubled waters" for the pipe and drum band? haha!!!!!

Speak of the Devil, we just received Flogging Molly from their Record Label in Hollywood. Should be on the broadcast by tomorrow. In fact, we have 15 new CD's we are adding on Monday. All high quality stuff.

I want to thank those that have been getting the word out, we have noticed an uptake in CDs lately.
