Pacing in my cage I gaze outside at The World, Eternally Froze in Ice and Snow Come the Spring If e'er it comes Revenge upon the Gods, is mine. This Glacial exile I must endure I Did naught to secure. Sacrifices made Praises sung, and Still, punished am I. Of what crime Do you condemn Me guilty, what Rite did I profane? The warming Sun And Breezes cool I did acclaim, and For this I am gaoled With Icicle bars And Igloo walls, An ice slab for a bed A blanket wove of snow. OH COME THE SPRING. |

Nah!nah!!!! That won't do....try to hide behind a poem...tsk tsk!!! One would think that you are in the south pole the coldest on earth...well earth's fridg... The Gods are punishing you for you don't like the beautiful season of winter for it's peace and white vistas that makes it so worth while...but still even with all the profanities the wonderful season of springs is on its way just for you my friend. Beautiful poem.... LOA |
