Hey!! Someone got ahold of one of my old history papers from high school! How'd it end up here? Made perfect sense at the time!

This dates back a while! I remember getting a copy of this in one of my classes in college
twenty years ago.

I was a high school history and English teacher for a while. It's hard to imagine students today getting this close to the facts for an essay test (or put together such fluent sentences). I wasn't even allowed to give essay tests - even in English class!

I don't remember ever laughing over a student answer, unfortunately, just a lot of pounding my head on the desk after hours. I spent a lot of my time so frustrated that if I had been allowed to administer subjective type tests and had gotten back answers about the mechanical raper and the boobs on the neck, I would have leaped for joy that someone sort of got it! unsure.gif

Those were funny! Always thought Capt. John Smith was a bit of a shady character.

The fact that students are not learning...it's just a myth. (You know, a female moth, right?)

This was hillarious! Thanks

Chuck
