HMMM, I thought I was the one who introduced Anthony to Nightwish.
If CR is playing any of their songs, it has to be 2 of them off the current cd, A Passion Play. Islander and Last Of The Wilds have some nice Celtic sound to them. The only other possibility would be Over The Hills and Far Away, which, if commercial radio plays a Nightwish song, that's the one that they have worn out.
Nightwish already released a dvd a couple of years ago (End Of An Era) which was the farewell concert for Tarja, when they fired her. And rightfully so. After you watch that show, you will see why they presented her with a letter at the end of the show, telling her she was no longer needed. Even though she was a founding member of the band.
Anatte has stepped in some pretty big shoes but has done a very nice job of quieting the critics. Still, she will never replace Tarja and Nightwish never will be the same.
The thing that folks here at CR need to know, is the fact that Nightwish is not a Celtic band. They are a heavy metal band from Finland, that just happens to have a few songs that have a Celtic theme or the usage of a few Celtic instruments. If you are a fan of heavy metal, your speakers will be filled to the max with sound. Nightwish loads up with power and delivers it.
It's just unfortunate that Tarja is no longer delivering her powerful vocals.

Aaediwen, If you get the chance to get the Pipin Hot CD get it. You won't be sorry. Every song on it is excellent. I made a copy of mine and put the original up. I've almost worn out the copy.
