Thats not an easy question to answer, part of me says yes it would change how I felt. But if the lie or lies had started something, that had done much good for people. I would have to say sometimes a lie is a necessary evil, I try not to lie. But if it takes a lie to protect someone, from physical or emotional harm I will. I know how I feel about a lie, I just don't think I can put it on paper so anyone can understand.
What if you had to help someone in trouble, would you be willing to lie to protect them?. I'm not talking about helping someone that had broken the law.

"If a man has found nothing he's willing to die for, he is not ready to live"
DISCIPLINE MUST BE A HABIT SO INGRAINED THAT IT IS STRONGER THAN THE EXCITEMENT OF BATTLE OR THE FEAR OF DEATH. General George S. Patton
Laws that forbid the carrying of firearms, disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assulted, and better for the assailants. They serve rather to encourge, than to prevent homicides. For an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.
I would agree with you that I would lie to protect someone from harm, for example, tell an abuser that I did not know where his/her victim was when I did know. I would not lie just to keep someone out of trouble.
On a lighter note, what if you could pick any weather for next week, what would you choose?

God then made man. The Italians for their beauty. The French for their cuisine. The Welsh for their voices. The Germans for their cars. And on and on until He looked at what He had created and said, "This is all very well, but no-one is having fun. I'll have to make an Irishman."
There are so many good songs to choose from.... One of the songs that I used at my wedding(actually a party after the fact) was "Daddy's Little Girl" ....I have always loved that song...
If I would have to chose another one...It would depend on the person that I choose to marry (if I marry again) and his interests as well...
What if you could donate to one cause........where would your money go?

]AN EXCERPT FROM A POEM THAT I WROTE ON 10/11/07
WE CAN'T CHANGE WHAT WE HAVE DONE.... BUT ONLY TAKE A LESSON FROM EACH EXPERIENCE AND MAKE THE MOST OF EACH MINUTE THAT WE HAVE LEFT AND TELL OURELVES THAT IT IS OK TO LIVE, LAUGH AND CRY..... PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE ALL WORK TOGETHER TO GIVE US WHAT WE CAN AND SHOULD EXPERIENCE AND WE NEED TO CHERISH ALL OF THE TIME THAT WE SPEND WITH OURSELVES AND OTHERS MAKING THE MOST OF THE SPECIAL MEMORIES THAT ARE OURS.. AND THE ONES THAT WE HAVE YET TO CREATE WITH THE PEOPLE THAT WE HAVEN'T MET!!!!![/SIZE]
