I know that it's still a month away, just wondering if anyone has any big annual performance, or local performances that they are planning for like the week around St. Patrick's day. Personally I can't wait because Spring Break just happens to fall the week of St. Patrick's day and so I'll be able to dance with my school at home and we already have a few school performances planned.

I'll probably go to the South Side Irish parade here in Chicago, which is held on the Sunday before St. Patrick's Day. It'll depend on the weather though.

My sister and I make St Patricks Day our special day. Last year I sent her a build a bear named Duncan. This year Duncan gets a St Patricks Day wife still to be named. As far as activities I' ll be Scottish Country Dancing and then probably go to Schillings afterwards.

Well, on the 5th, we have our Alexandria parade. On the 6th, we have 4 other parades. On the 13th we have the Washington DC parade. So far, I haven't seen anything scheduled for the 17th, but like you said, it's still early yet! laugh.gif

We have 5 performances in March, 2 actually on St. Patrick's Day. We'll be marching/dancing in the KC parade and then after that we'll be at the NAIA Tournament Extravangaza. It's hard to imagine that it's barely a month away!

We have a pretty big school so that we a lot of kids going in all directions. The kids love to perform and show everyone their Irish Dancing and everyone gets a kick out of it!!

Don't forget to add a bottle of Guiness to your cabbage and cornbeef. If I win the lottery or my rich uncle gets out of the poor house maybe I'll celebrate in Ireland! If not, I'll have to celebrate on the 18th, gotta' work on the 17th. Maybe I'll go to Bennigans and order off their menu instead of cooking!

St. Paddy's day I went out with a friend to Borders...when we got home he was locked out of his house--so for the next hour we tried to break in. All of this while it was crazy cold outside and he was in a kilt.
The luck of the irish, ay?

If we could just stand here, without the words, would that be enough? ..Look at the sky now. What color is it? Or the way a hawk flies. Or you wake up and your ribs are bruised thinking so hard on somebody. What do you call that?
