I am not new to celtic music, but did just discover Celtic-Radio and this forum today. It was my first day back to school to work in my room. I brought no CD's with me and when I could stand the quiet no longer, I began searching and found Celtic Music on the internet which brought me to this forum! I do genealogical research and have a number of families going back to Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. I'm always trying to learn and am especially interested in anything Celtic!

Hi, Burke, from the Navajo Nation in Northern Arizona! Glad you happened upon the site and trust you are enjoying what you are seeing and hearing! We are always glad to welcome new folks to the family. There are a lot of folks, including myself, who do genealogical research. It's great fun. Looking forward to your posts.

Welcome aboard and have a great day!

Hello and welcome Burke!

It's funny how things work out - you found Celtic Radio by not having and CDs at hand, and I found CR by not wanting to listen to any of the CDs I had! However, the end is the same - you discovered us and I'm glad you did! thumbs_up.gif

Now that you're part of our family, please feel free to wander around and see what there is to see - we have lots of forums that are fun and interesting, as well as the nicest people you could meet! wink.gif

I wish you well with your studies and look forward to reading your future posts!

Best cheers! Robbie

I teach special ed, a life skills class at high school level. I don't officially have to return until the 13th, but to make the coming year go a little smoother, I'm already back - unpacking, writing curriculum, etc!

Welcome Burke from a fellow teacher in Georgia. I teach four year olds in a Classical Christian school at our church. Our school starts back on Aug. 13, but we have a week of pre-planning all next week. I was lucky in the fact that I have been able to get my room ready throughout the summer, so it won't be such a daunting task like it has been in the past.

So glad that you found CR. You will find all kinds of wonderful people here; as well as the great music!

Looking forward to reading your future posts.

Jennie
