well, must be a child's nightmare, to be left alone.

My wonderful husband found out and he blackmailed me at least twice a year that he would leave me... until the day I said, just fine. Now he's not saying it anymore because he knows I mean it. grrrr.

Very nice thread, btw!

I'd say that I am most afraid of not being creative. It always seems like the world turns upside-down when I'm not being imaginative or at least somewhat artistic.

A world without art is like an egg with no yolk.

Well a lot of things scare me occasionally but im able overcome any fear i may feel , right up to my fear of heights. I do ride rollercoasters and even rode the batman ride at sixflags NO, the one where you hang with nothing underneath you. and everytime i get on one or get up high my stomach drops and my body goes rigid and i have to fight to stay wherever i am at.

Neat thread. Spiders are kinda creepy and I love snakes so I can't share that with anyone. My fear is running out of time, as a whole life concept, and not being able to accomplish all the things in life that are worthwhile to me.

For years I was afraid of walking in front of a car that had the engine running with a driver in it but not moving, but I think that I have gotten over that and now I have a fear and hatred of cell phones.

I'll have to say Spiders or snakes neither one bother me. Ever play with a Granddaddy Longlegs? smile.gif

QUOTE (Jeff Foxworthy)

Thanks for the help buddy!  I'm an octoplegic now, Thank you very much. Regular meal on wheels out here. . .

Granted I never did that to any of them, but they're still fun to play with.

Anyway, to answer the question:

1) Being the cause of negative vibes, pain, or trouble for someone
2) Family/Friends in trouble and I am powerless to help
3) losing everyone and everything I know

I think the latter is part of the reason that Celtic Music so appeals to me. It plays on that fear in a way. Of finding myself in a completely alien world, where everything you ever hoped, dreamed, and worked for is gone. I've never totally experienced this, but I know I've found myself in tears over it several times. And I'm not afraid to admit it. Any time I can think of that I've been driven to tears by music, this is what it triggered.

A healthy dose-- a fear of failure. I've walked the lonely walk--being truly alone, no friends no family and survived. But somehow if I fail at what I attempt in life I think I'd lose my self-respect. It's a part of who I am.

O and Spiders I can handle , but those millipedes and worms..ewwww
