Its very windy this Christmas Day in Kentucky. The incessant rains have subsided, but now precipitation, when it happens, is icy. Time for another log on the fire and some hot cider or single malt whiskey.

The Scots of course insist that the pipes produce music. But the point is after all not too important. For those who love them, the pipes can evoke more vividly than any other instrument, high emotion, they can inspire valor, and tell of tragic tales of battles long ago. They can call forth merriment or sentiment. It does not matter what the sound is called, those who are deaf to its merits would not understand anyway.

Ok everyone Spring has sprung, a leak, yep spring is here, the rains have come and the river (Mississippi River) is rising. Being I live in the river valley I checked out the outboard motor, turned the boat right right side up, tightened up the drain plug and mixed 2 - 5 gallon gas cans with 2 cycle motor oil (hope that's enough)
So now I can start the spring cleaning on my house (God knows if it gets washed down river I would not want it found dirty, lol).

Anyway, I just hope everyone is enjoying the warmer weather

Right now, the weather is horrible near me. It is hot and extremely humid.

Today in Merrywick a rain shower brought the advent of a double rainbow. The seers are forecasting good crops as a result of the sign.

Since we now have the discussions section in game nobody really posts here anymore, which is unfortunate because post here still count towards your post rating, which is why I am here talking to you now, in this forum, that is made for the game medieval Kingdom, but as I said is no longer used in general by game users.

Also, where you aware that the three-toed sloth is active during the day, unlike the nocturnal two-toed sloth, and so is seen more often. This sloth only eats leaves from trees and lianas, but may feed on fifty individual trees of up to thirty species, eating leaves of different ages. Sloths live, feed, mate, and reproduce near the upper levels of the forest canopy. They move to a new tree often enough to balance their diet, or about once every 1.5 days. Home ranges of different individuals may overlap considerably and females tend to be more social than males, but usually one adult (or female with young) will occupy a tree at any given time. Sloths may use different food sources depending upon what their mothers taught them to eat.

What does this have to do with the game? We are deforesting the kingdoms at an alarming rate with all our wood producing and I think we should all be aware of how this affects the other animals in the lands we live in. Perhaps we need to look into other means of building from new non wood materials. If only we had a way to super heat some of these metal ores we dig up and mold them into something, but how would one do such a thing?

Cool this morn in my fair southern country. Have to admit that this summer has been fairly cool overall. I'll take this weather any day over the norm of high humidity and 90+ temps.
