Substantial life changes always keep life busy. And from the looks of it, it is not going to slow down anytime soon!
Still like to check in every once and awhile to see how things are going. Glad to see things progressing!

I have 21 right but I'm an old man (according to my kids) and, therefore, subject to living in the past. |

Vinyl tubing will have no effect on the taste. It is the rubber tubing you have to watch out for. Now that will give you a bad experience. |

Wait! I just happen to have some vinyl tubing . . .
.
.
.
And it just happens to be 10 feet long. I'll just hook it up to this barrel of Guinness and we're set to go.

Ahh, the circle of life on the internet. Activity ebbs and flows.
There have been some changes that have contributed. The politics forum was moved to its own site with a link from here. Medieval Kingdom has had some resets. An active member has excluded herself. Other active members have ostensibly become busy with life.
Personally, I have been busy with life and trying to survive in this economy. |

Sounds like you are going to have a blast doing this project.
After reviewing your photos and reading your ideas my only questions are project duration and available construction budget.
As a mental exercise I would start with a more detailed conceptual site plan taking into account an authentic castle layout in a concentric layered defense. Then provide for the modern automobile in a visually minimized manner. The rest is up to you.
With modern materials it could look like a castle for a lot less and shorter construction period. With the latest building codes the interior will be a little more challenging.
Here are some links that you might be interested in.

Here is the direct link for Moonbase Alpha Game.
It does look like fun centered on long term viability through computer generated problems.
QUOTE | NASA has once again landed on the lunar surface with the goal of colonization, research, and further exploration. Shortly after the return to the Moon, NASA has established a small outpost on the south pole of the moon called Moonbase Alpha. Utilizing solar energy and regolith processing, the moonbase has become self-sufficient and plans for further expansion are underway.
In Moonbase Alpha, you assume the exciting role of an astronaut working to further human expansion and research. Returning from a research expedition, you witness a meteorite impact that cripples the life support capability of the settlement. With precious minutes ticking away, you and your team must repair and replace equipment in order to restore the oxygen production to the settlement.
Team coordination along with the proper use and allocation of your available resources (player controlled robots, rovers, repair tools, etc.) are key to your overall success. There are several ways in which you can successfully restore the life support system of the lunar base, but since you are scored on the time spent to complete the task, you have to work effectively as a team, learn from decisions made in previous gaming sessions, and make intelligence decisions in order to top the leaderboards. |

It is truly a sad thing that well known people have their peccadillo's exposed in such a manner. There are only two people in the world that actually know the truth.
I have come to the conclusion a long time ago that it becomes necessary to separate the personal from the professional. Otherwise there would fewer entertainment choices available.
Overall the entire situation is bad. I do think he is imploding. What happens from here is totally up to him. I wish him luck. |
