Oh, lads and lasses, look at this list!! I almost wept to find the chocolate orange guinness cake, cheddar shepherd's pie, Irish spiced beef with guinness (this looks heavenly!), crusty roast lamb, Donegal Irish cream . . .

Such good things! and none of them very difficult.

ALL right then . . .

I tried the Irish bangers (not stuffed into sausage casings, but fried like flat patties -- er, Paddy's). Oh, oh, oh . . . tongue.gif are they good.
It really does need the bit of fat. I just had them grind up the pork at the meat department of the store, but it may be worth acquiring a meat grinder over it.

All I can say about the orange chocolate Guinness cake is that now I have to make another one, because the prototype one is already completely gone before the party. laugh.gif It's heavy and darkly luscious, and the flavor is -- well, it's as if a pint of Guinness was extra good all its life and came back reincarnated, as a reward to hardworking men and a comfort to sad children.

You must try it.

I use my Cusinart to grind ( chop ) meats for sausages and burgers, works real well and I already have one, so I don't have to buy a grinder.
