I'm going to visit in autumn probably, when the apple harvest is in and they have more time.. I love britanny. I'd like to live there one day... (I've been to France, many different parts, many different times.. I love the way you people enjoy life & good food!)

Aon Daonna, you are welcome in France and thanks for your compliments.But you are also very lucky to live in Scotland. If I was in Scotland this year, one of the first things I would do is to buy a ticket to any Runrig concert in the country, just to enjoy Runrig live music !

And Scotland is a beautiful country, I lived in Inverness for one year and I enjoyed it a lot, I made many friends, I found Scottish people very friendly. smile.gif

Hi Lionel! I had started an Altan thread awhile back and a few of us were talking about them there. I think, but don't know for sure, that they are from Ireland. I have the "Blue Idol" CD. Not sure what CD that song you mention is from.

The song I mentioned is from the CD "Finest Altan". I suppose that CD is a best of the band !?
