Great story indeed.

I'm right in line with everyone here it seems. I have a hard time with denominations that say that every move you make is pre-ordained. That completely subjugates the idea of free will. It makes no sense. That would mean that God choses people not to be saved. He wants us all, so he give us the choice.

Cheers!

Normal is a relative term. For some reason it is not a term my relatives use to describe me.

Love the story, AKlassie!

Todd, I agree with you too! Up until Sunday, this was always a very hard concept for me to understand.

I think we are predistined to a certain end by God. He has something special for all of us to do, give, experience, whatever. The clincher here though is that He has also given us free will. He has something picked out specially for us, and it is up to us (and our free will) to choose to do or follow what He has for us.

There's a dear little plant that grows in our Isle
Twas St . Patrick himself, sure, that set it;
And the sun of his labour with pleasure did smile,
And with dew from his eye often wet it.
It grows through the bog, through the brake, through the
Mireland, and they call it the dear little shamrock of Ireland.

You can choose a ready guide in some celestial voice.
You can choose not to decide, but still have made a choice.
You can choose from phantom fears and vipers that can kill.
I will choose a path thats clear
I will choose free will............... king.gif
