I have only caught them on CR but I enjoy them. They've got a different sound and it's just peppy! I find them a nice break from the traditional sound with enough celtic sound to them to feed the soul.

Mike, I have seen them 3 times and their shows are much better than either of the cd's. They need to make a live cd and that will show everyone the real talent that they have.
They perform quite frequently around here and, I have to admit, I'm really not a fan. There's one girl who's a very talented fiddler (usually has her hair pulled back - straight hair - very energetic) but the other girl just irritates me beyond belief. She's more about wiggling her hips than she is about being a good fiddler. I'm also not a big fan of their songs...but...*shrugs* To each their own.

You are talking about Colleen Searson, with the straight hair and Jamie Gardner.
I will admit, some of their early songs are pretty cheesy and they shouldn't be played anymore. The music has matured quite a bit since the first time I saw them but they still have a long way to go before they hit it big time.
Still, they do have some talent and are always very nice to talk to.
I'm a fan and I really enjoy the instrumental. My 15 year old has just about worn out their CD's. We have seen them for the past 2 years at Culloden. Chey was front and center and singing along with them. They autographed her CD and she got her picture taken with them. It was the highlight of the weekend for her. She has informed me their next CD is coming out this winter and it is live. She is such a fan that she used their CD's for a media broadcast project at school.
As a parent I would take their music over some of the stuff some of these kids listen too.
They're going to be at the Richmond (VA, USA) Highland Games and Celtic Festival this coming weekend...I only first heard of them when I checked out the schedule...I'm looking forward to checking them out now.
