I seen this and started reading what everyone has said . I have some information on your monthlys. 1998 was the last time I had one, I was having one about every other week and was getting tired of . I talked to my dr. and told him if he didn't do something about i would be forced to buy stock on a tempx company just to get my money back. He gave me a prescription for 3 months of a little white pill told me to take one a day for the 3 months and I shouldn't have another one. I took this pill for 1 month and stopped have them I can't remember what it was called but if you were to talk to your Dr. I'm sure he could figure it out. When I said it was a little white pill I do mean little. I dropped one one day had a heck of a time finding it.
I hope this helps. biggrin.gif

We just purchased a select comfort bed. Our old bed had broken down in the middle. It is so nice to sleep all night and wake up without a backache. I'm still trying to find the right pillow. Now that I have my back straight my pillow has my neck hurting.

Good evening Lasses. smile.gif I have just finished reading all 7 pages of this Forum smile.gif Wow, what I get to look forward to; I too have not hit Menopause yet. My mom was 53 when Menopause decided to strike. She had 5 children; unfortunately I have none (1 miscarriage) and have tried to get pregnant for the past 23 years.

So tell me, is there a difference with Menopause if a woman has had children & those that have not? I must be getting close though. For the past year the floodgates open for 3 out of the 5 or 6 days that I have Aunt Flo visiting; yeah she comes in from Red Deer laugh.gif Luckily they are on schedule, but whoa am I ever hot when it hits. I am a walking Furnace. Can't complain during the Winter months rolleyes.gif

So, Gerard Butler.....hmmm, I have to get me some, the magazine that is biggrin.gif I haven't seen all of his Movies yet, but I swear I will smile.gif He's my Wallpaper on my Computer at work laugh.gif You should hear the Trades when they see him; at least one of them appreciates Gerard. Yeah, she's a girl thumbs_up.gif

I shall continue reading this Forum day-to-day. I find it very informative. Thanks for listening Lasses. Have a great evening. thumbs_up.gif

Has anyone seen a movie that Mr. Butler was in called Dear Frankie? It's about a boy who can't speak or hear, and his mother pays Gerard to be his father for a day. The boy's father is the reason he has the problem he does.I could watch that one over many times ,just a feel good movie. I seen it on Showtime.

Leelee---I don't know if there is a difference in menopause if you have had children or not. Hubby and I were not blessed with children. I had a miscarriage 20 years ago in the early stage.
Just went for 10 months without a monthly and then had one. Now it starts all over.

Althea---Yes, we were talking about the Select comfort beds. We love ours. They have air chambers in them. You can adjust each side to suit each person. Told hubby I wanted twin beds. The rock hard mattress was killing my back, so we decided to try the Select Comfort. Best thing we ever did. They are expensive, but worth it. IMHO

The secect comfort bed is a Queen bed but it has a two sided bladder in it. You can adjust the air in each side to accomodate each person. thumbs_up.gif
