Of all the elections I have seen throughout my years I can safely say that this is by far the worst batch of candidates I have seen. There is one bumper sticker that I've seen on Facebook posts a few times that sums it up perfectly: Election 2016. We are screwed! That being said I am predicting Hilary to be the winner. I myself will never vote for her but the DNC threw a huge bunch of money into her campaign even before the candidates even started campaigning. Bernie never had a chance. Trump, while refreshing is too much of a loose cannon and since most of the media and Hollywood are pushing a progressive/liberal agenda Hilary will probably win.

Unavoidably Detained by the World
"Irishness is not primary a question of birth or blood or language; it is the condition on being involved in the Irish situation, and usually of being mauled by it."-Conor Cruise O'Brien
The peculiar evil of silencing the expression of an opinion is, that it is robbing the human race; posterity as well as the existing generation; those who dissent from the opinion, still more than those who hold it. If the opinion is right, they are deprived of the opportunity of exchanging error for truth: if wrong, they lose, what is almost as great a benefit, the clearer perception and livelier impression of truth, produced by its collision with error. ~John Stuart Mill, On Liberty, 1859
Education: that which reveals to the wise, and conceals from the stupid, the vast limits of their knowledge. ~Mark Twain
Say NO to Trump. I can't stand the guy never did like him. The only Trump knows is that he wants to punch someone. If he really wants to help America then he can pay off the defecit. After all he has more than enough money most of which was probably handed down to him
Besides I doubt he could negotiate a peace treaty with getting mad and yelling at the other person. He'd rather punch them.
If he wants punch someone let him punch Kim Jung On. The North Korean dictator.
Who do we say yes to and exactly how is that person good for the country?
Because if you're talking about a lesser of the two evils, Trump is essentially an unknown in terms of leadership. We KNOW what we'll get from Hillary.

I think I'm going to follow Montgomery Brewster's example:
D) None of the Above!
I have watched every possibly viable option disappear from the Republican pool, I don't think Sanders would even survive a year in office. Despite everything he's probably the best option, and that's not saying much. Trump comes off like a child, and Clinton has already been blatantly stupid in every way that matters. I wouldn't trust her to run an Ebay store.
Maybe we should cast our votes for Zaphod Beeblebrox.

I have been voting third party for a while and see no reason to change. Not a dime's worth of difference between the Dems and the GOP, IMHO. At least among those that are in charge.
It's a shame so many states restrict ballot access and make it hard or impossible for third parties to even get a chance to make the ballot.
The Navajo Nation system is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but it is interesting. There were 17 on the initial ballot during the last election. The top two vote getters then run-off during the general election. At least there's a choice!

Do your duty in all things. You cannot do more, you should never wish to do less - Robert E. Lee

Would Trump make a good leader. Domestic affairs - maybe. Foreign affairs - most likely not. The man is a business man. Don't get me wrong. Plenty of our leaders in the past where business men and did a decent job. Hands down he could help get our budget problems in order as long as Congress are not there normal selves, which is a*holes. AS for people who don't like him because of his money, get over it. I know several people believe most of his money was inherited, but the true is no it wasn't. Yes his dad did give him a loan to get stared. But even so, Why hate someone because there parents where good a managing money and saved. I have never understood this mentality. Some say they are not entitled to the money. Well, actually they are. It is the families money. As they grow older and most of the time become the head of the family they accept the responsibility of handling the family finances. In truth. No human is entitled to anything. Even in the bible, it does not state that we are entitled to anything just because we are born. Human rights is a social construct that people agree to because we want to better ourselves and this is one of the steps we believe to do that. Nature doesn't care about human rights, or what you think you deserve. Hilary.... I thought that most people didn't want a Mafia family to run the country? I know in the early 1900's this was the case. If she would just own up to what she did and accept the punishment for it, I feel that I could make a better case for her. A leader who will not admit wrong doing and accept judgement for it does not deserve to be a leader. That goes for anyone. In the end, My personal opinion is that America has become to big. It has to many different ideologies who refuse to learn to live together. And yes the ones on the left are just as guilty of that as the ones on the right. The country needs to be divided up. Maybe at least 4 different areas. Allow time to pass to see what works out and what doesn't. Let those who decided to come back together to form new countries and let old ones die. But in the end I do not think anything like this will happen. To many people are content to be slaves. Everything that the human race has fought for over the generations and this is how we have ended up.

We just saw an excellent show on HBO called "A World in Disarray" and it does a very good job of displaying a very object approach to the events over the past 20 years, but also getting opinions of both sides, mistakes that have been made.
