What makes you different from everybody else - diversity
and what makes you like everone else -unity

Like me I'm so different because of how much better I look - diversity
I dont cross the street until i see a green light - unity

What about you- Yes this is a light hearted post

Hmmm.....have to think about this. I am different in the fact that I have an "artist personality" I am told. I love people but yet need lots of space.. figure that one out! Am tempermental and emotional.

Unity....I try to get along with everyone despite our differences and beliefs. Maybe too much of a people pleaser in that category, but I just love people and would love to think that I am tolerant of all mankind whether we agree in all aspects of life or not. Also, very forgiving to a fault.

I may need to come back on this one. good topic, Knightly Knight!

good one, it makes me think..

The way I think and view the world makes me different I think, but the way I feel makes me like everyone around me..

Well being a very complex person is not always a very good thing. I think I'm different cause I have a very sincere "never met a stranger" attitude about life. I'm very open to others and I really tend to like everyone. I approach all situtation's with a sunshine happy attitude. The down side to this type of person is when I'm disappointed in someone I take it to heart. The up side is I don't stay down long and I never hold on to the hurt.
I don't know everything and I detest those who try to impress others into thinking they do. If I don't know something, I don't mind finding the answer. I will hang myself over a principal or a "rights" issue.

Different - I like Pepsi

Unity - I breath air to survive

Different - I like the Peckery

Unity - My body is composed mostly of water

Different - I think that Wayne Newton is possibly the best vocalist of all time

Unity - after a hard night of drinking there is nothing like a Lynard Skynard song

Different - I think monkeys are lucky

Unity - I think monkeys are fun to drink with and listen to Lynard Skynard

Raven's a redneck
Raven's a redneck

You know you're a redneck when your wife say's "she's game", and you shoot her.

these have been fun posts to read. Thanks everyone. You are all proving to be the same, Different like me. LOL

Peckery my wife saw your DNA answer and laughed as she exited the room.
I agree DNA IS by itself a clear way to define differences and similiarities. Now if you were a TWIN your DNA would be the same as your sibling. How else would you define YOU from Them

Raven I think I've actually seen people drinking with monkeys listening to good old Leonard, Annabelle was dancing on the side and Aon Daonna was on the side pondering the meaning. CelticRose was trying to get out of the building at the time.

I have been totally fascinated at how people from the same family can be so unique from each other and develop differently than their parents. Brothers and Sisters raised in the same place yet come up with a different answer to the question to how much is 2 + 2? Also in my life I have met people from different backgrounds who think and act just like me when they were born 20 years later maybe 1600 miles away. So funny king.gif note.gif

Bambrack's The Fly is definitely better than Lynard Skynard lol.gif Leonard is fine! Redneck's are not the only one's who listen but pretty close wink.gif

What makes us different? Our attitudes toward life. If everyone had the same thoughts and ideas what a dull boy they all would be.

well, IMHO, the answer to this question ia all over these forums. Granted that the answers would differ for other groups in which we all hang out.

Unity: We are all human (probably)*, all of us here are drawn together by a common affection for Celtic music, and all of us here own and use a computer.

different: we all have differing opinions on just about every subject, and differing perspectives on the world. We hail from all corners of the globe (and perhaps beyond?)*, and we all have varying interests. an example is how Richard likes fly fishing, which I am indifferent to, while I doubt he'd have much fun building software. We all have our own stories to tell (perhaps I should start a thread for family and individual stories...)

* there is always a chance that this might actually not apply to someone

I am different because I have unique life experiences and a unique personality. I am the same because I am not perfect and I breath air just like everyone else. angel_not.gif

Its our uniqueness that makes life great and exciting. If we were all the same, life would be so boring and we would rely on artificial stimulation even more than we do now.

That's the acutall title I gave this shot. A heart shaped freckle next to a dotted mole.

Otherwise, I'm just like everybody else. (yeah right)

He he - nothing probably if you aren't in the US.

It's just classic if you play music in bars to have some low class redneck yell free Bird at some point during your show (grin - raises hand as guilty of yelling Free Bird at more than one band during their show - the difference between me and other low class rednecks is that I don't get mad when the band refuses to/or can't play Free Bird)

As far as dancing with drunken monkeys during the performance of Lynard Skynard it is not only common but encouraged in some areas of the US. tongue.gif
