With all the toy recalls that have been happening I thought I would post a link to the site where you can keep track of it all. Yes there was another one this week. The link is to the Consumer Product Safety Commision. Just click on the Recalls and product Safety news and you can check by month and year.

I'm a collector so I'm glad to be a help. www.toymania also lists toy recalls. They also list new and future toys mostly action figures

It seems most of the toys on the market are being recalled these days. A good many of the toys we played with as children have been recalled over the years. To look at some of them, makes you wonder how we ever servived. We had parents that loved and cared for us and used common since. They taught us how to care for our toys and safely play with them and keep small objects away from little ones that might put them in their mouth. We would sometimes get hurt and toys would sometimes break. It's all part of growing up. When toys broke our parents fixed them if they could and if not they got thrown out. Problem today is most of the toys and things sold in the stores today are made in China and Mexico. For the most part people don't take pride in their work. T here are few true craftsmen left today.
What can we do? Don't buy the cheep toys from China and Mexico. Buy good quality and support craftsmen who take pride in their work. Teach our children how to properly care for and play with their toys.
