Celtic Radio Community > Politics & Current Events > Warren Buffet Wants To Pay More Tax!

It is hard to believe that Buffet is so dense as to have overlooked the IRS web page that provides a means for "guilt ridden" tax payers to give their money to the govt! He is not forced to take advantage of the tax dodges available to him. Also, his present attitude would have precluded him from amassing the wealth that he did should he have followed that belief in his early years

You can donate too when you make your quarterly or annual filing.

The whole issue makes both he and obama look like a couple of dolts!

In the late early 60's, Nelson Rockefeller issued a press release at tax time indicating that he owed no taxes that year but in the spirit of patriotism he felt he should present the govt with a gift of $1,000. My federal tax that year totaled about two and a half times the amount of his gift as I recall. (I had accidentally made a bit of money in wheat futures on a first time investment) At that time Rockefeller was one of the richest men in the world.

I know that a lot of money has been moved off shore and much more will be, along with related business, if it appears apparent that this tax code will pass.

It was interesting that no dimocrat would sponsor the the jobs bill and the Republicans co-opted it! My guess is that it will not pass and if the super committee takes action, Most who voted for the comittie will be facing unemployment. The super comnittie in it's self is unconstitutional.

The political parasites are making our job easier each day.

The "political parasites" are counting on the usual sheeple to return them to their cushy jobs. I fear that the sheeple still outnumber everyone else. They will have to be sheared a couple more times before (if) they ever understand what is happening to them.

QUOTE (englishmix @ 19-Sep-2011, 07:44 PM)
Warren Buffet was caught recently by the IRS not even paying what he owes now.

So this "jobs bill" is going to increase government spending and "fairly" punish the only people and corporations capable of producing lasting jobs.  The Democrat Party should now officially replace their jackass symbol with Obama.

There still isn't a "Jobs Bill". There won't be a "Deficit Bill" either. I think "The One" either just likes hearing his own voice or TOTUS was just making him say things for fun.

I was just listening to my Congressman,Connie Mack IV, on the local talk radio station and he said he's over believing anything the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave says. He said 2 years ago when the President said in the State of the Union Speech he wanted to pass the free trade agreements with Columbia and Panama, end the Capital Gains tax, and one other item I don't recall (Oops unsure.gif ), Congressman Mack called Rahm Emanuel and told him he'd like to work with him on those issues in the spirit of bipartisanship and "the Rahmbo" told him "they weren't doing that" on all three issues.

I felt from the beginning that he was a pathological liar. I suspect that his real goal is to destroy jobs, not create them. What he appears to be doing is NOT his hidden agenda!

2012 is our last chance to save America and maybe even that will be too late.

The AP put this out today: http://news.yahoo.com/fact-check-rich-taxed-less-secretaries-070642868.html

The first time I heard that Buffett had said something like that I had to ask myself: If "fat cats" like Warren Buffett are so concerned about their secretaries paying too much in taxes why don't they change the way they pay them so that their secretaries can enjoy the same tax rate as they do?

My only conclusion is: They're selfish lowlifes who like to hear themselves talk. mad.gif
