Deity

I am Who I am
Or so believers say
This Deity in human guise
This he who claims
to be so wise.
And why a He
And not a She.

If God be she then
What of man, who claims
Dominion over all
A claim so vain
It stuns the mind
And show the arrogance
Of his kind.

And what if God
Be not He or She
Just the Universe
No Deity.
What then of Man
And his beliefs.
