Return of the Bride of Wildenstein
By This is London
18 October 2004

Readers of a nervous disposition should look away. Jocelyn Wildenstein - the American socialite who has spent £2million [$3,607,476 USD] on cosmetic surgery - has revealed her latest face - and it isn't pretty.

Jocelyn, 58, was nicknamed the Bride of Wildenstein several years ago after her attempts at improving her looks left many observers horrified.

But judging by her recent appearance she has not given up the treatment.

Jocelyn was a fresh-faced mother of two until she discovered her billionaire art dealer husband in bed with a 21-year-old.

Hoping to keep him, she began a never-ending cycle of surgery to change her eyes, cheekbones and lips. Unfortunately, her husband left her anyway.

She was recently named the world's scariest celebrity by a plastic surgery website.

Scaring, horrifying...It saddens me to hear about and to see this poor woman, what did she do??? sad.gif How desperate and worthless she must have felt...No man (or woman as well) on earth is worth THAT!!!

Brother Shamalama, thank you for your words, you're a sweetheart.

Apparently there is some sort of psychological disorder that people get addicted to surgery of any kind. And there's even a subset of this disorder where people -- usually women -- are addicted to plastic surgery.

This woman is one example, the "Cat Woman" is another (Google her, I'm sure you can find her under "cat woman plastic surgery"), and a former-now-dead porn star, Lolo Ferrari (the only reason I remember her is because she died a few years ago -- I did NOT patronize or support her career! biggrin.gif )

There is some speculation that Michael Jackson has this same disorder, which is why he's always going under the knife.

I have to correct myself. The Wildenstein woman here *IS* the infamous Cat Woman.

My mistake.

Annabelle-
The doctors wouldn't profit if they said no! And God forbid they could afford their Farrari!
There are some cases where plastic surgery is justified, and it is a very important facet of medicine. I was in a severe car accident a couple of years ago which, had it not been for the miraculous work of the plastic surgeon, would have left my face severely scarred. However, when I hear of perfectly beautiful people (especially young girls) getting cosmetic surgery done, it makes me sad that our society has placed such an emphasis on outward appearances.

OK, I will shut up now.

I have just one question...

When did she decide to stop looking like a cat and start looking like a picture of John Kerry and Jay Leno morphed together?

I have seen this woman before and it is the most disgusting site of a human being. How in the world a woman would want to look like that is beyond me and why didn't her plastic surgeon say no?! MOney and greed! I guess I will just grow old gracefully or try to...LOL I see this as a very sad woman and a horrid human being of a plastic surgeon!

Do you know how many countries could have fed their dying and hungry with the money from stupid plastic surgeries?? I can't even begin to imagine.
I suggest women begin to support the Dove line. They have started a "real women" campaign in the UK which (because it made them so much money) has moved to the USA. I think it is campaignforrealwomen.com I think.... I am going to support them though and buy their products. They use real women models and not Paris Hilton (ew!) look-a-likes.
