Can anyone recommend a good Celtic calandar that we could implement on this message board?

I'd like to enter all of the major Celtic holidays and have a description of each. Please see the calandar entry for August 1st as an example.

One of the cool features is that it can re-occur each year, so once we enter a holiday, it will come back up the following year (same info, etc.)

I know that there are some email programs that have calendars that you can set up to display holidays from all around the world.

Excellent, I'll wait to hear from them. I might also check out borders books and see if they have a good book on this.

I also plan on transferring 350 Highland Games dates, descriptions and locations to the Calandar.

Highland games, or atleast some, are on our site on a seperate page that you should be able to cut-and-paste.

Sure, what ever you want to add is fine. I think you have access to the Calander feature.

This is the calendar script I use on my web pages, it has many options available. It is a perl script and can be tweeked to any need.

http://www.blue-gecko.com/framecal/

It can be modified to allow all or just certain folks to post to it and comes with pre input items, and if I remember correctly it had celtic options...it has been years since I set it up though.

I think most would be interested in that option. I would be most interested in the Highland Games info on it. biggrin.gif beer_mug.gif
