I have always bought HP Computer and I have just bought a new Pavilion and so far in the past week I have had to call HP support twice and now it looks like I have to call them agin because the computer dumped my media player and won't let me re-install it also when I open my Poems files I get nothing but printed gibberish on the screen. I am beginning to think I bought a Lemon this time. Damn thing cost me over 500.00 and that a lot of money when you are on Gov. Pensions. |

This post was a waste of time because staring me right in the face was the solution to getting my medias player operational. there at the top of the page was a notice saying that the media plug in needed to be activated click here. Voila media player works. Hey I'm still trying to master the hammer and chisel on the rock slab. |

We've had pretty good like with HP's except for something called an HP Envy. It is a good computer, but it is definitely different then the regular HP's we bought in the past. First, it has a hard time taking a new replacement video card and second it seems to be always searching folders trying to index everything which slows down the computer. For some reason when we turn it on and turns right off, but on the second time it turns on properly. Then during the first 2 minutes you really can not type anything as it loads everything up. Again, its a good computer and does email, word processing and such - but just not as happy with it as a regular HP computer. |
