Hullo....
I hope that I've not been guilty of some sort of breach of etiquette by posting in other areas here before formally introducing myself. My name is Kevin and I'm an artist and writer- which means I work another job in order to get a steady paycheck... You can see some of my stuff on my web site (www.kevinbuntin.com) Most of the work I do- written and sculptural- is influenced by and deals with fantasy. Celtic mythology is among the many sources of inspiration and material for my work.

I also have a passion for celtic music- and not just because of my own ancestry. I was turned on to this site by a good friend and fellow artist who did so via Live 365. I then discovered this site. Or was it the other way round....? unsure.gif Anyway, I'm afraid I've been here for a bit, but only recently had a peek into this section of the rather vast Celtic Radio web site.

I was so happy to find this wonderful place and new source for one of my fav music genres. We had a great Celtic music show on a local Public radio station, but it got dumped....

So...I don't know how often I'll have time to be here in the postings area, but I'd like to play now and again. But, working a second shift post and writing and doing my sculpts while keeping up with a web site AND being a husband and father.... well... anyway. HELLO!!!! smile.gif

Hello Seana,

you are not the only german here. I am also german but I am living in the US and I know there are a few people around here which speak some german - so don't you worry about the language issue!

Hope you have fun here as much as I do.

(Also willkommen beim Celtic Radio und ich hoffe, Du hast viel Spass hier bei den verschiedenen Themen)

Hi everyone =)

I first just want to say what a lovely site this is! I am really enjoying the music in the background as I type this. I first fell in love with this type of music while listening to "The Thistle and Shamrock" on my local public radio station, but soon found that the one hour of celtic music a week just isn't enough! So I went looking online to see what I could find and I fortunately ran into this site. I had a chance to visit Scotland while I was in college and I never wanted to leave. My friends really had to keep an eye on me so that I didn't turn up "accidently" missing when our plane took off and headed back to the US. It was an experience I will never forget!

I hope to be able to get to know some of you, till then I will just keep listening! walkman.gif

Thank you for your warm welcome. smile.gif
This forum reflects the kindness of the
most people who are interested in Celtic music.
Maybe I wouldn't feel so comfortable, if I
talked to people who write about Punk Rock. laugh.gif

I'll try to communicate a lot, so my English
should improve with time. (At least I hope so.)

Thank you for the encouragement!

Believe me - without a dictionary it wouldn't sound at all. lol.gif

Ah, an emigrant with enviable casualness.
I'll take you as an example and worry less. beer_mug.gif

It's really great that a place like this
exists on the internet.

Greetings from snow-covered Munich

Thanks Mary, thanks Allen for you warm and kind welcome. I've been here for a while just listening to the great music, so finally I figured I'd best come play in the "lists" biggrin.gif with everyone else. Such a diverse and varied crowd, of all ages and perspectives and beliefs! I love it! Because here we all meet on common ground, and I think that says more than anything else about music, about this kind of music and the people who are drawn to it.
